8/1/2011 - Burnet middle school student attendance improves 1.1%, the most in AISD, using the LifeChangers Project H.O.P.E. and Inspire4Life programs.
3/1/2011 - LifeChangers received a continuation grant from A Glimmer of Hope foundation to continue equipping students with leadership skills through peer-based mentoring and life-stills development in the Inspire4Life and Project H.O.P.E. programs.
7/1/2009 - A Glimmer of Hope foundation partnered with and awarded LifeChangers a $20,000 grant to equip middle school and high school students with leadership and mentoring skills to perform peer-based mentoring and life-skills training through the Inspire4Life and Project H.O.P.E. programs.
10/30/2009 - The Central Texas Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) recognized LifeChangers as one of Austin's "Best Kept Secrets" and became a sponsor of the Project H.O.P.E. program.
11/1/2009 - The Austin Independent School District awards LifeChangers a contract to implement the Project H.O.P.E. program for truancy reduction, drop-out prevention, behavioral improvement, and family conflict resolution.
2/22/2010 - LifeChangers began its Destroying The Gap tutorial and college-preparation program for all region 13 schools and was recognized as a Texas Education Agency Supplemental Educational Supplier.
4/22/2010 - LifeChangers produced its first live production recording called This is your life in partnership with Burnet middle school, Saul Paul, Reroute productions, the Boys-n-Girls club of Burnet middle school and HEB stores. Over 100 families attended, ate, were entertained with local recording artists, actors and actresses--all while being challenged forgive, commuicate better, control their anger, make wise choices and attend and perform better in school.
6/07/2010- 7/9/2010 - Central East Austin's Weed and Seed contracted with LifeChangers to equip at least 100 students with job readiness skills, implement Project H.O.P.E. for Kealing middle school families, take East Austin students to Kids Across America, and train and employ students to run the LifeChangers Inspire4Life camp for over 50 middle school students.
