Inspire4Life Camp

A Glimmer of Hope foundation has partnered and funded LifeChangers to train 6th-8th graders, at Kealing middle school, for academic readiness skills, leadership skills, team building skills, and character development from 10am-2pm.  Students receive four days of skill development, with two days of camp-based skill development at Camp Glimmer and one day at Austin's Park-n-Pizza.  The camp counselors and trainers are students trained and employed by LifeChangers in partnership with the Travis county work-based learning program.  The camp runs from June 14th-July 2nd and the student workers work from June 7th - July 9th.

Boyz2Men

It's fun!  It's live!  It's real!  It's Boyz2Men ... every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the Decker middle school gymnasium, from 5pm-7pm.  It's group-based mentoring ... revinvented!  We play basketball and then partner in groups to discuss real issues and apply real skills so we move from Boys to Men.  Our current topic is on becoming worth the wait--men of purity sexually, relationally, physically and spiritually.
